Bernice E. Hoover Wiest, age 89, of Arden Courts, Allentown , and formerly of Harrisburg , died Monday, January 7, 2008 in her home.

She was the daughter of the late George E. and Mary Romberger Finkbone. She was a retired bookkeeper for the former Singer's Athletic Wear and a 50 year member of Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church , both of Harrisburg .

She was the widow of Eugene A. Wiest and Ivan A. Hoover and is survived by her daughters, Meg of Allentown and Sally of Indianapolis, IN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 11:00 am in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23 rd & Derry Streets, Harrisburg with Rev. Rochelle E. Lewis, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens . A visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 am until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
