Theresa E. Grubic Benkovic


Theresa E. Grubic Benkovic, 87, of Lebanon Valley Home, Annville and formerly of South 7th Street, Steelton, died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in the Home.

She was a retired clerk for PA Dept. of Transportation and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and St. Marys 50+ Club.
Theresa was the widow of John W. Benkovic and is survived by one son, John M. Benkovic and his wife, Florence of Herndon, VA; one daughter, Margaret M. Frank and her husband, Charles of Hershey; two sisters, Agnes McCaslin Jackson of Mechanicsburg and Genevieve McGann of Havertown; one brother Edward F. Grubic of Middletown; five grandchildren, Kimberly Shultzaberger, Karen Reed, John W. Benkovic, Adam and Emily Frank; four great grandchildren, Rachel and Sarah Shultzaberger and Dylan and Megan Reed.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Steelton, with Rev. James M. Lyons, her pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the Rosary at 80 p.m.
