Barbara C. Verbos Besic

Barbara C. Verbos Besic, 92, of the Tremont Nursing Home and formerly of 813 S. Sixth Street, Steelton, died Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville.

She was a member of the former St. Marys Croatian Catholic Parish, Steelton and St. Lawrence Lodge #13 Croatian Fraternal Union.
Barbara was the widow of Joseph C. Besic and is survived by a son, Donald E. Perry and his wife Melinda, Hummelstown; four grandchildren, Ashton, Austin, Aaron, and Amanda Perry; one niece, Rosemary Verbos, Bressler.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 South Second Street, Steelton, with the Rev. James M. Lyons, Pastor, Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
