John P. Colello, 51, of 6169 Spring Knoll Drive , Lower Paxton Twp., died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 in Harrisburg Hospital.

He was an employee of Mittal Steel Corp., Steelton and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lower Paxton Twp.

He is survived by his former wife, Debra A. Colello, two sons, Peter J. Colello and Eric J. Colello, all of Chambers Hill; one brother, Robert L. Colello and his wife, Saundra of York; three sisters, June Cuckovic of Paxtang, Mary Carmella Cuckovic and her husband, Tommy of Oberlin and Suzanne Colello-Schmidt of Paxtang; his companion, Jean M. DePasquale of Camp Hill; nine nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 10:00 am in Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd. , with Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence, his pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery . A viewing will be held on Sunday from 7 until 9:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St . , Steelton. Recitation of the rosary at 8:45 pm.
