Albert J. Hutchison, 83, of Steelton, died Saturday, January 12, 2008 in Spring Creek Rehab & Healthcare Center, Swatara Twp.

He was a retired Crane Operator for Aycock, Inc. and an Army Veteran of World War II and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a former member of the Highspire VFW Post #8638, Steelton Italian Club and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #382.

Albert was the widower of Evelyn I. Kone Hutchison and is survived by three daughters, Darlene A. Williams and husband Roy, Highspire, Susan L. Bowman and husband Scott and Donna L. White and husband Dennis, both of Steelton; one brother, Donald Rhen, West Hanover Twp., one sister, Della Mae Waller, Harrisburg; six grandchildren, Gregory Snyder, Shawn Hutchison, Stacie Bowman, Kevin Bowman, Robbie Williams and Justin White; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Savanna Snyder, Jayden Barton, Justin White, Jr. and Kayden White. Albert was preceded in death by his son, Donald A. Hutchison and his brother Calder Hutchison.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton, with the Rev. Paul W. Kauffman, officiating. Burial in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin with full military honors. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
