Mary E. “Betsy” Tyler Mitchell, 66, of 511 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, died Monday, June 2, 2008 in Harrisburg Hospital.

She was a retired Retirement Systems Specialist for PA State Employees Retirement System and attended West Shore High School Class of 1959.

She is survived by her husband, Barry R. Zerance; one son, John W. Crumlich, Sr. and his wife, Donna of Emlenton; two daughters, Debra A. Walburg and her husband, John of Ormond Beach, FL and Carol L. Shearer and her husband, Fred of Sicklerville, NJ; one sister, Jeanne M. (Tyler) Bland of Harleysville; five grandchildren, John W., Jr., Samuel, Matthew, Rachel and Thomas; and one great grandson, Tyler.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. A visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
