Joan A. Thrasher Mohn, 66, of 339 South Fourth Street , Steelton, died Friday, February 29, 2008 in Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge Mountain, Susquehanna Twp.

She was the former co-owner and operator of Belgrade Bakery in Steelton, a former member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton.

Joan is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Mohn, Sr.; four sons, Ronald L. Mohn, Jr. and his wife, Allison of Steelton, David W. Mohn, Sr. and his wife, Nancy of Bressler, Daniel A. Mohn and his wife, Diana of York, and James M. Mohn and his wife, Pamala of Harrisburg; one daughter, Sherry A. Brown and her husband, James of Hershey; one brother, John Thrasher of Wichita, KS; one sister, Dolores Lesh of Newport; eight grandchildren, David W., Jr., Ashlee, Cristen, Austin, Brandon, Carly and Ellie Mohn and Nina Brown; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren. Joan was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Lee Mohn.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St . , Steelton with Rev. James M. Lyons, Pastor of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish officiating. Burial Woodlawn Memorial Gardens . A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
