Harold L. Nicholson, Sr., 77, of Steelton died Friday July 4, 2008 in the Harrisburg Hospital.

Harold was a retired mover for the former Camp Curtain Transfer, Harrisburg, and the former George Weaver and Sons Moving Co., Steelton. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a life member of Steelton VFW post #710, and an active member of the Steelton American Legion post 420.

Harold is survived by: a fiancee Betty F. Rice, her children; Debbie M. Kisic, Highspire, Rudy S. Wierzbic, Steelton, and Robert J. Wierzbic, Enola, his wife, Joyce Duke Nicholson, Enhaut, their four children; Harold L. Nicholson Jr., Enhaut, Donna Peters, Wernersville, Brenda Hess, Enhaut, and Calvin Nicholson, Lebanon, three sisters, one brother, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second Street, Steelton. Burial in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
