Elizabeth Lobel Schenfelt, 97, of 7 Banbury Square, Hummelstown, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in her home.

She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church , Steelton and a former member of Wenrichs Lutheran Church , Linglestown, where she served as a pianist.

Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Conrad and Margaret Zart Lobel and the widow of John Schenfelt, Jr. She is survived by one son, John C. Schenfelt and his wife, Donna K., with whom she resided; one daughter, Doris Chandler and her husband, Edward of Virginia. She was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Lobel.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton with Rev. Harold S. Fox, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery , Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in the funeral home.
