Marlin E. "Spike" Wagner, Jr.


Marlin E. “Spike” Wagner, Jr., 86, of Spring Creek Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Swatara Twp., and formerly of Paxtang, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in Harrisburg Hospital.

He was a retired automobile mechanic for the former Paul Camplese & Sons, Penbrook , US Army Veteran of World War II, a Pearl Harbor survivor, member of Pearl Harbor Survivors Assn. Central Penn–Letter Kenny Chapter No. 3, and a charter member of Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church , Lower Paxton Twp.

He was the widower of Ruth Neubaum Wagner and is survived by one brother, Robert C. Wagner of Banning, CA; a sister-in-law, Peggy M. Wagner of Hummelstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 1:00 pm in Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23 rd & Derry Sts., Harrisburg with Rev. M. Robert Green, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery , Lower Allen Twp. There is no viewing or visitation.
