Nancy E. Ritter Potteiger Watkins, 67, of Las Vegas , NV , died Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in Desert Springs Hospital , Las Vegas .

She was a registered nurse on the heart team of Desert Springs Hospital . Nancy was a graduate of Reading Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1961 and worked in the operating rooms of various hospitals during her 46 year career in nursing.

She is survived by her husband, R. Michael Watkins; her mother, Ruth E. Ritter Downs of Swatara Twp.; a sister, Georgia L. Wails of Leesport; and a brother, Terry A. Ritter of Arnold , MD.

Graveside services and burial will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11:00 am in Churchville Cemetery , Oberlin. There is no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.
