She was a retired dietary aide for the Harrisburg School District, attended Swatara Church of God, Swatara Twp., and was a life member of the Hummelstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #1687.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Ditmer and is survived by her husband of 54 years, Augustus S. Ditmer, Jr.; four children, Snooky Mowery, Hummelstown, William F. Ditmer, Lakewood, WA, Sue Markley and Patti Pianto, both of Harrisburg; two brothers, Francis McNaughton, Susquehanna Twp., and Richard McNaughton, NC; three sisters, Clara Klugh and Rene Stickle, both of Steelton and Betty Jane Allison, Columbus, OH; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Swatara Church of God. Burial in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.
