Jacqueline (Jackie) Lee Hoover Norbrey, 68 of Steelton, was welcomed into Heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
Jackie was a 1967 graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School. She retired from The Department of the Navy - Naval Supply Systems Command as a Program Analyst. She was also a former employee of Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. Jackie was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Oberlin, and served as the current President of the Church Council, member of the United Methodist Women, part of the kitchen crew and served on the food bank and Carrie Park May/Sara Agnes Lodge committees.
Jackie was the daughter of the late John F. Hoover and Martha Diveley Hoover and preceded in death by her brother, John F. Hoover II, sister Karen L. Hoover, brother-in-law Ronald Mohn and nephew Ryan Mohn. She is survived by her daughter Michelle and son-in-law Sean Lacy of Virginia, son Stephen Norbrey; three sisters Pamela LaVia and husband Robert of Oberlin, Bobbie Malinak and husband Doug and Alison Mohn all of Steelton; granddaughters, Erica and Terica Woods, Mia and Jenna Lacy and a host of nieces, nephews and one great-great nephew.
Jackie was committed to helping others through her donations of food items to many friends and people in need with no recognition needed. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and church family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Steelton.
