Obituary of Milan Starcevich
Milan "Braco" Starcevich, 52, of Oberlin, died at home as a result of an accidental drug overdose on Monday, January 22, 2018.
He was a former Letter Carrier and Machine Operator for the United States Post Office and was a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin and the Serb National Federation Lodge #37.
Milan was preceded in death by his father, Milos Starcevich and is survived by; one son, Dylan Peterson and wife Bethany, Martinsburg, WV; one grandson, Gavin Peterson, Martinsburg, WV; mother, Zorka Starcevich, with whom he lived; two sisters; Yovanka Hoover and husband Mark, Mechanicsburg and Donna Carricato, Oberlin; two nieces, Guiliana and Kristina Carricato; one nephew, Matthew Hoover; one great-niece, Ava Carricato; uncle, Pero Vujasinovich; cousins, Donald and Stevan Vujasinovich; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Serbia, Bosnia and Slovenia.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, 601 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin with Rev. Christopher Rocknage, officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the church. Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, 601 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin PA 17113.
