Aaron C. Vogie, age 38, died suddenly and unexpectedly in an automobile accident on November 22, 2021. He was born in St. Joseph, Michigan on August 26, 1983 to Thomas and Lorraine (Roberts) Vogie.
Aaron (Bug) as he was affectionately known was strong and fiercely independent from the day he was born. tall, handsome, and quick witted. Fearless is an accurate description of how he chose to look at life. You could either wade through life, or dive right in and enjoy the waves.
He loved his family, his friends, and his job at Fry Communications, but he loved nothing more than being a father to his 4 beautiful children.
Early in his adult life, he was challenged by the demon of substance abuse. With his unwavering faith in God, his family, and the staff at Pennsylvania Adult and Teen Challenge, he conquered this monster and was proud of the life he was living.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Lorie Vogie; his father Tom (Natalia) Vogie, and his brother Dustin (Adrianne) Vogie. His 4 beautiful children, Chase, Madeleine, Ethan, and Logan Vogie, and his former wife Nicole Vogie. Grandparents, Lavern Twyman, Doyle (Shirley) Roberts, David and Marianne Vogie, and more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins than we have space for.
A celebration of Aaron''s life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 11:00 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the funeral home.
