Albert Joseph Acri, 73, of Susquehanna Township, died Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Born in Harrisburg, Albert was the oldest son of the late Gladys Small Acri and Albert Joseph Acri. A 1967 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, he attended Harrisburg Area Community College and earned a B.S. in Psychology from Penn State University Capital College. Albert served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a U.S. Postal worker. He was also an avid Numismatist.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Diane Gallagher Acri. He was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Acri and is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Acri Abney and William Abney of Springboro, Ohio; his brother, Joseph T. Acri; and his sister-in-law, Judy Hetrick Acri. In addition he leaves two daughters and their families, Kirsten Acri Katz and Colonel Joseph Katz and Renee Acri; grandchildren, Aiden Katz, Ingrid Katz, Marnay Acri-Burns, Kathryne Acri-Burns and Olivia Acri; and nieces, Stephanie Garber and Lauren Acri.
