Angela Neway

Angela P. (Frinzi) Neway (lovingly known as Nonnie), age 96, passed away peacefully on August 20,2022 at Homeland Center in Harrisburg.

She was born on December 1, 1925 in Phillipsburg, NJ to Dominic and Rosalie Frinzi. She was one of seven children. She was employed for the Diocese of Harrisburg for 23 years as a secretary, as well as being a devoted mother/wife. She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Coffee Club, the Harrisburg chapter of the Red Hat Society, the Rutherford Senior House and the Sentimentalist Senior Chorus. She enjoyed dancing, fashion, sewing, baking and being with friends. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Angela is predeceased by William, her husband of 68 years and an infant daughter, Rosalie. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Neway of Silver Spring, MD; son, William Neway, Jr. and wife Evelyn of Port Orange, FL; daughter, Pamela Sielaff and husband, Bruno of Emmitsburg, MD; daughter-in-law, Janet Neway of Harrisburg, PA and sister-in-law, Joyce Frinzi of Easton, PA. Also surviving are her 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 12:00 pm in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with Rev. James Lease, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial will be at the conclusion of Mass in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the church.
