Anna Sviben

Anna J. Sviben, 90, of Harmony at Hershey and formerly of Steelton, died Monday, February 26, 2024 at Harmony at Hershey, Derry Township.

She was a retired associate in the Engineering Department of Bell of PA and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Aunt Annie was always there to help by whatever means with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. They were always near and dear to her heart. The family gives our heartfelt thanks to Harmony at Hershey and West Shore and Grane Hospice for all their care and support.

Annie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Cajko Sviben and is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Stephen, John (Red), Michael, Joseph and Lawrence (Skip) Sviben and one sister, Mary H. Manley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Steven J. Arena, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Viewing will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
