Anthony Polito

Anthony Christopher Tony Polito, 72, of Harrisburg, passed away at UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic Hospital with family by his side on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia (Criescenzi)Polito.
Tony served as a Seargent in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was known as a sports guy, and he favored the Phillies, the Orioles, as well as Notre Dame and Penn State Football. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling. He also loved WWE Wrestling and would go to many live events. Most important to him was his granddaughter, Emma, whom he loved to dote on.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Angela Boudah and her husband, Robert; his son, Gregory Polito; his granddaughter, Emma Boudah; his siblings Mary Wright (husband Donald, deceased), Rose Gibson (husband Bill), Michael Polito (wife Anna); and his sister-in-law Joanne Polito; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings Joseph Polito and Santa Robertson, brother-in-law Robert Robertson; and granddaughter Kaitlyn Boudah.
A Memorial Service will be held at Highspire First Church of God, 115 2nd Street, Highspire, PA 17034 on Monday October 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Friends and Family will be received at the church one hour prior at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Highspire First Church of God at the address above.
