Obituary of Dr. Anthony J. Tezik
Dr. Anthony J. Tezik, 77, of New Cumberland, died December 14, 2020 at home. He was a teacher and coach for 20 years at the Lewisburg and West Shore School Districts; he retired after 18 years with the PA Dept. of Education. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, Bloomsburg State College, and received his EDD from California Coast University.
He was an avid Notre Dame fan and served as a ND football usher for 8 years. But it was the love of his family that was the joy of his life.
He was born July 15, 1943 in Harrisburg to the late John M. and Marion (Callaghan) Tezik. He is survived by his wife, Paula S.; sons, John (Brenda), granddaughters, Maura and Meghan; Jarrod (Jalyn), granddaughter, Torie; Colin G. (Suzanne Hartman), granddaughter, Tara; and daughter, Maren K. Erb (Kevin), grandsons, Cameron and Nolan Scott.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oberlin.
