Bertie E. Brezler Bouder, 88, of Swatara Township, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Bertie was 1953 Graduate of Waynesboro High School, was a retired clerk for the Dauphin County Treasurer''s Office, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hummelstown. She loved her family and grandchildren and loved vacationing at the Jersey Shore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russel A. Brezler and Lula M. Birely Brezler and one brother, Mark S. Brezler. Bertie is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Richard H. Bouder; one daughter, Julie A. and husband Michael J. Deibler, Middletown; two sons, David B. Bouder and wife Michelle, Mechanicsburg and Richard "Rick" E. Bouder and wife Natalie A., Mechanicsburg; her grandchildren, Kayce A. and husband Randall Beekler, West Hanover Twp., Karlee A. Deibler and Fiance Eric Deignan, Hershey, David B. Bouder, Jr., Mechanicsburg, Charlotte A. Bouder, Mechanicsburg, Austin S. Lesher, Dallas, TX and Madison T. Lesher, Frisco, TX; brother Russel A. Brezler, Jr., Waynesboro; sister-in-law, Janet I. Hocker, Chambersburg, several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends, especially her friend, Betty.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:30 am, in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 West Main St., Hummelstown, with Pastor, David J. Schreffler, Officiating. A viewing will be held on Thursday April 13, 2023 from 9:30 am - 11:30 am in the church. Burial at the conclusion of services will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
