Brian Szeles

Brian J. Szeles, 57, of Harrisburg, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.

He was the owner and President of Alex R. Szeles Inc. and a partner in Szeles Real Estate Development Co. He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, where he volunteered with many activities for many years. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.

Brian was the son of the late Alex R. Szeles and Delorose "Dory" Foster Szeles. In addition to his mother, he is survived by four sons, Brian "B" R. Szeles of Dillsburg, Seandor J. Szeles of Mechanicsburg, Richard "Roo" W. Szeles and his fiancee, Michelle DeCroce of Scranton, and Kevin P. Szeles of Scranton; one daughter, Alexis L. Szeles of Harrisburg; one brother, A. Richard Szeles and his wife, Debbie of Harrisburg; two sisters, Deb A. Salldin and husband, Brian and Diane J. DeVan and husband, Shain, all of Harrisburg; and five grandchildren, Brian, Caroline, Amora, Gabriella and John "JJ".

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Swatara Twp. with Rev. John A. Szada, Jr. as Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 South Harrisburg St., Oberlin.
