Burton Lee Iii

Burton Willis Lee III, 83,of Bethany Village Mechanicsburg died Saturday November 19, 2022 at Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill PA. He was the son of the late Burton Willis Lee Jr. and the late Ethel Ruth (Chamberlain ) Lee. He is survived by his wife Sarah Louise (Myers) Lee of Bethany Village Mechanicsburg PA.

Burton was a graduate of Alden Central High School in Alden New York, a graduate of Fenn College in Cleveland Ohio and recieved his Masters from Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts. After college he worked at the YMCA in York where he met his wife Sarah. He worked several jobs mostly in the teaching field. He worked for Texas Instruments in Software Development in Hunt Valley Maryland where he taught people all over the United States and Canada how to use computers. He also worked in Real Estate for many years in Maryland. Burton also travelled far and wide as a Square Dance caller. Burton retired from Coldwell Banker as a realtor. He had a love for photography. He and Sarah did RVing all over the United States doing community service projects mostly at Indian Reservations for Volunteers in Mission.

He is survived by his wife Sarah and they just celebrated 53 years of marriage together in June. They have one daughter Elizabeth C. Lee of Etters, one son Benjamin K. Lee of Severn, Maryland a granddaughter Elika N. Johnson of Etters, PA. He is also survived by twin sisters Miss L. Janet Lee and Miss June R. Lee both of Batavia New York.

A Memorial service will be held at the Camp Hill United Methodist Church 417 South 22nd Street Camp Hill, PA. 17011 on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 10:30 AM. A visitation will be at the church beginning at 9:30 AM until time of service. Inurnment at the columbarium at church will take place following the service.
