Catherine Marie Mrksic, 89, of Lititz, formerly of Summerdale, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones.

Catherine grew up in Bressler, where many of her relatives still reside. Catherine attended St. Mary''s Catholic School and graduated from Catholic High (now Bishop McDevitt) in 1950.

Following high school, she became a member of the Kolo Club Marian, one of the oldest Croatian folklore ensembles in the United States. She worked as a Claims Processor for Atena Life and Casualty for 15 years, retiring in 1983. Catherine volunteered for the Summerdale Fire Company - Ladies Auxiliary and was a Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Parish, Enola. She loved her Notre Dame Football, San Francisco 49ers, and Saturday afternoon western movies. Catherine will be dearly missed and always remembered for her fun loving personality, sense of humor, and warm smile.

Catherine is predeceased by her Father, Joseph Loncar; Mother; Anna (Gustin) Loncar; Brothers, Robert Loncar and Edward Loncar. She is survived by her Husband, Daniel R. Mrksic, Lititz (formerly of Summerdale); Son, David E. Mrksic, Summerdale; Daughter, Teresa A Ceresini (Mario), Mount Gretna; Grandchildren, Nicholas Mrksic, Monica Ceresini, Dylan Mrksic, Tea Ceresini; Sister, Elizabeth (Ibby) Loncar; Brother, James (Jim) Loncar, both of Bressler.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 815 South Second Street, Steelton, with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, Pastor, Celebrant. There will be no viewing or visitation. Private burial will be held at a later date.
