Catherine M. (Kambic) Muzic, 93, of Lower Swatara Twp., died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John A. and Jennie (Yaklich) Kambic.
Catherine was retired from the Commonwealth of PA as a Clerical Supervisor for the Office of Auditor General, Bureau of School Audits Department. She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, Prince of Peace Seniors Group, St. Aloysius Lodge No. 42, KSKJ, Steelton, and Retired State Employees Assn.. She was a great cook, loved spending time with family, loved horse racing and traveling overseas with her husband. They were world travelers.
She was the widow of Joseph G. Muzic and is survived by sons, Joseph G. Muzic, Jr. (Nancy) of East Hanover Twp., Edward J. Muzic (Stefanie) of Marysville, Martin W. Muzic of Lower Swatara Twp. and Michael J. Muzic (Deborah) of Harrisburg; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Muzic, a sister, Marie J. Atanasoff, and brothers, John W. Kambic and Richard F. Kambic.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, her Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg St., Oberlin.
