Cathy (Iskric) Campbell, of Shermans Dale and formerly of Steelton, died at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Stanisic) Iskric. She was the loving wife of Harold "Howie" Campbell, with whom she shared 28 years of marriage.
Cathy was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, class of '84 and attended Franklin Pierce College. She was employed for most of her career at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Church. Cathy enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and entertaining. In fact, her fudge and cookies were the highlight of many gatherings. Like her father, she loved the outdoors and enjoyed trips to the cabin and nature walks. She was an avid reader and had a soft spot for all animals. Cathy was happiest in her new home in Perry County. Most of all, she was a devoted wife and mother. She will be deeply missed by all.
In addition to her husband, Cathy is survived by her son, John Raymond Campbell; brother Jeffrey Iskric and his wife Jenny of Cody, WY; nephew John Iskric of Cody, WY; niece Lt. Jaclyn Attwood, USAF and her husband Zach of Oklahoma City, OK; and her great-nephew Jonah Attwood; as well as many cousins and friends.
