Charles Smith

Charles E. Smith, 76, of Penbrook, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday May 27, 2023 in his home.

Charles attended Liberty University and later was self employed, having a janitorial and window cleaning business for many years. In his off time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and most of all, his family.

He was the son of Charles W. Smith and late Betty K. Rexrode Smith and is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Leonard Smith; two daughters, Jeanne Sheetz and husband Robert, Harrisburg and Patricia Smith, Harrisburg; brother, Ronald Smith, Harrisburg; grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Aleessa Smith, Chris Fuller, Elizabeth Moppin, Aaron Smith, all of Harrisburg and Tara Detweiler, Virginia, Toni Stoner and husband Mike, Middletown, Justin Little and wife Marci, New Bloomfield, Anthony Zehring and wife Katrina, Middletown, Mallory Judy, Georgia; 12 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Milani Fuller.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday June 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM, Brookfield Bible Church, 3601 Brookfield Road Harrisburg, PA. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
