Christine Fickes

Christine M. Pavelic Fickes, 93, of Harrisburg, passed away on Friday July 23, 2021, in the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was born in Harrisburg on December 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine (Pavelic) Kincaid. Christine was of the catholic faith, and a retired secretary for the New Cumberland Army Depot.

Christine is survived by her daughter; Sharon (Donald) Stepp, East Berlin; two grandsons, Andrew (Miranda) Stepp, Baltimore, and Timothy (Christina) Stepp, Phoenixville; two great grandchildren, Rick Joseph Stepp and Emerson Lynn Stepp, and another great grandchild due in August; and a daughter in law, Theresa Fickes, Camp Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Fickes; one son, Stephen Fickes; and one sister Patricia Hrobak.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday August 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Roman Catholic Church, 2800 Paxton Church Rd, Harrisburg with the Rev. Samuel E. Houser, as celebrant. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the church. Burial will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Oberlin.
