Donald Semic

Donald Semic, 89, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Steelton, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at UPMC West Shore Hospital. Born on March 5, 1935 in Steelton, he was the son of the late Michael Semic, Sr. and Dorothy (Barber) Semic.

Donald is survived by his wife of over 17 years, B. Louise (Loych) Martin; his daughter Lissa Semic; his son Andrew Semic and wife Sue; his grandchildren Cassie, Courtney, Taylor, and Jaidyn; his great-grandchildren Ryder, Petra, Alana, and Nora; his sister Shirley Hathaway; and his brother Michael Semic, Jr. and wife Kathy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Kaeron (Walker) Semic; son Stanley Michael Semic; and sister Georgianne Herigan.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S Harrisburg Street in Oberlin with Pastor Steve Crews officiating. A Viewing will take place in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to service. Burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
