Dorothy Jambrosic

Dorothy A. "Tootsie" (Gojmerac) Jambrosic, 95, of Oberlin, passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, March 1, 2024. Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Dermes) Gojmerac. She was the loving wife of the late Nicholas P. Jambrosic, to whom she was married for 62 years until his passing in 2009.
Dorothy worked as a Secretary for the VMC Corporation until her retirement. She was an active member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, where she would volunteer for the Spaghetti Dinners and served on the Funeral Luncheon Committee and the Picnic Committee.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Michael G. Jambrosic and wife Donna, and Thomas J. Jambrosic and wife Dorothy; her grandchildren Dr. Janelle Jambrosic and husband Dr. Brian Martin, and Amy Snow and husband Brandon; and four great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special Thank You to Becky Jo of Hospice of Central PA, as well as Paula and Maria for all of their help and caregiving for Dorothy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Prince of Peace- Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Steven J. Arena, her pastor, as celebrant. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Township. A Viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
