Dorothy M. Roth

Dorothy "Dottie" Mesaros Roth, 96, of Etters, died Thursday, September 12, 2024 in her home.

She was a retired Associate Engineer for Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, where she was a Life Member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, served as a Judge of ELections for Newberry Twp. for over 25 years, delivered Meals on Wheels, Past President of the Newberry Twp. Republican Club, and a member of Valley Green Womens Club, St. Mary's Club, St. Al's Club, Deutscher Quarter Club, Bressler Club, Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 537, Etters, Ladies Auxiliary of Lawnton American Legion Post 998 and St. Lawrence Lodge No. 13, Croatian Fraternal Union. 

She was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Yantachka Mesaros and the widow of Keith S. Roth. She is survived by two sisters, Marie Giuliano of Halethorpe, MD and Elizabeth A. Vernalis of Langhorne; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Mesaros.

A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 12 Noon in Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 357 S. Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. Private burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
