It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Edita Jurisic, who left this world far too soon on January 16, 2025, at the age of 38, in Mechanicsburg, PA. Edita was a devoted mother, a loving partner, a cherished daughter, and a beloved friend to many.
Born in Doboj, Bosnia, Edita embodied a spirit of resilience, grace, and boundless love. She pursued her education with dedication, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Central Pennsylvania College, followed by a Master's in Business Administration from Argosy University. She built a successful career as an Executive Accountant, demonstrating her sharp intellect and unwavering work ethic.
Beyond her professional achievements, Edita’s proudest role was as a mother to her two precious sons, Matej (5) and Nikola (1). She embraced motherhood with boundless devotion, pouring her heart into raising her boys with love, care, and joy. Alongside the love of her life and father of her children, Jason Yesser, she created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories.
Edita’s zest for life was reflected in her passions. She loved traveling and exploring new cultures, never missing an opportunity to embark on new adventures. Her impeccable sense of style and deep love for fashion and shopping were expressions of her vibrant personality. Edita also had a distinguished history in the world of pageantry, having held the prestigious title of Miss Earth Air at Miss USA Earth, and she pursued her love for modeling with Model Management Group USA, leaving an indelible mark in the industry.
Proud of her Balkan heritage, Edita spoke Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and English, embracing her roots while making a home in the United States. She traveled extensively, experiencing the richness of different cultures, and lived life with an open heart and an adventurous spirit.
Edita is survived by her loving parents, Petra and Miroslav Jurisic, who instilled in her the values of hard work and kindness; her devoted partner and fiancé Jason Yesser; and her beloved sons Matej and Nikola, who will carry on her legacy of love and strength.
Those who knew Edita will remember her as a beacon of joy and light, a woman with an infectious smile and an unwavering love for her family and friends. Her departure leaves an irreplaceable void, but her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
