Evelyn Defilippo

Evelyn M. "Ezzie" Haas DeFilippo, 85, of Haines City, FL and formerly of Lower Paxton Twp. and Steelton, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 in her home.

She was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of PA and a former employee of the Bishop''s Office for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Harrisburg. She was a former member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lower Paxton Twp. and St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg.

Ezzie was the daughter of the late John W. and Evelyn May Reheard Haas and the widow of Mariano R. DeFilippo, Sr. She is survived by four sons, Mariano R. DeFilippo, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Mission Viejo, CA, John J. DeFilippo and his wife, Joy of Stone Harbor, NJ, Stephen J. DeFilippo of Haines City, FL, and Mark J. DeFilippo of Arcadia, FL; eight grandchildren, Jessica DeFilippo Nenadal, Maria DeFilippo Visconti, Luke DeFilippo, Drew DeFilippo, Mitchell and Matthew DeFilippo and Nicholas and Michael DeFilippo; and four great grandchildren, Dominic Rocco Visconti, Stella Maris Visconti, Bennett Mia Nenadal and Cruz James Nenadal.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 am in Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Lower Paxton Twp. with Rev. Edward J. Quinlan III, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, West Hanover Twp. There will be no viewing or visitation.
