Evelyn Stonesifer

Evelyn (Lynne) E. Stonesifer, 79, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday August 24, 2021.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the only child of the late Isabelle Stonesifer and Jay Stonesifer. She graduated from Central Dauphin High School and received her bachelor''s degree from Pennsylvania State University. Lynne was a social worker for many years before retiring from the Pennsylvania Department of Securities. She was a very active member of Messiah Lutheran Church, where she participated in the choir and organized programs for children.

She is survived by many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 am in Messiah Lutheran Church, 901 N. 6th St. Harrisburg, PA 17102. A visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
