Florence Ivanoff

FLORENCE IVANOFF, 88, of Country Meadows, Mechanicsburg and formerly of Rutherford, died Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Country Meadows.

She was a retired Administrative Assistant at the former Naval Ships Parts Control Center, Mechanicsburg with over 40 years of service. She was a member, President of the Church Board, and Choir Member of the former Holy Annunciation Macedonian-Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Church, Steelton, and a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, and Secretary of OCCSCP.

Florence was the daughter of the late Asen and Rosa Stankova Ivanoff and is survived by her beloved daughter, Jennifer Rastro Zolan of Scottsdale, AZ and several nieces, nephews and cousins in the US and Europe. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Donald J. Zolan.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, with Rev. Christopher Rocknage officiating. Burial will be in Hershey Cemetery, Hershey, PA. A Public Pomen Service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm in her church and a Public Viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
