Obituary of Garrett F. Punch IV
Garrett F. Punch IV, 63, of Adkins, Texas passed away suddenly at his home on April 13, 2023. He was the son of previously deceased Garrett F. Punch III and Iris Maxine (Green) Punch. He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on November 18, 1959 and grew up in Steelton, Pennsylvania. He was a 1977 graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. He was retired from United Parcel Service. He was an accomplished drummer and vocalist and played in various bands during his younger years. Later in life his spouse joined him and they became the country music duo, “The Byram Brothers”. Their songs earned them a number of international platinum recordings.
He also was a prize-winning bodybuilder placing in the top 3 during most competitions. This is where he met his spouse Eric Nagle. He was also a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
He is survived by his spouse Eric C. Nagle of Adkins, Texas; his only sister Melinda Sledzinski and his aunt Mary Fran Forbes, both of Camp Hill, PA;. His aunt and uncle Mary and James Sawicki of Memphis,TN; a niece and nephew in law Crystal (Sledzinski) and Justin Katlic of Enola, PA; a nephew Aubrey Sledzinski of Camp Hill, PA; and many cousins, Barbara Forbes-Rhouni, David Forbes of Hummelstown, PA; Bruce Forbes of Camp Hill; Tammeria, Jamie, David and Anthony Sawicki of Memphis, TN, Donna Sharp, Catherine Chute, Nicky and Michael Bradford , along with numerous other relatives all from Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the West Shore Elks, 108 N. St. Johns Rd in Camp Hill at 11 am on June 24, 2023. The Celebration will be followed by his burial at Holy Cross Cemetery on Derry St, Harrisburg, PA at 1pm.
