Gloria A. Stager Wingert

Gloria A. Stager Wingert, 86, of Harrisburg, died Saturday December 28,2024 in Homeland Center.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and it's Church club, C.U.M. She had worked at the voting polls at Melrose School and was a diehard fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey Team.

Gloria was the widow of Thomas R. Wingert, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Richard Stager, Sarah K. Kohr, Bertha M. Shank, Betty I. Wilt, Helen E. Stepp, Charlotte R. Noll and Shirley E. Shaeffer; and is survived by one son,Thomas R. Wingert Jr.( Kathy); one daughter, Deborah E. Hamor ( Robert); 5 grandchildren, Jessica A. Cintron (Randal), Sean R. Hamor (Casey), Scott Wingert (Marianna), Amanda Wooters (Brett) and Alexis Britcher (Andrew); 9 great grandchildren, Ariya, Emilia, Lucas, Jacob, Cecilia, Ryan, Ireland, Owen and Hannah; and her great granddog Kona.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 3,2025 at 11:00 am in Calvary United Methodist Church, 4700 Locust Lane Harrisburg PA 17109. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements.
