James Spevacek

James Richard Spevacek, 65, of Bressler, passed away at Penn State- Hampden Medical Center on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Arthur Joseph Spevacek, Sr. and Mary T. (Ozimac) Spevacek. He was the loving husband of Dale A. (Gipe) Spevacek.
James worked as a Millworker for Bethlehem Steel (now Cleveland Cliffs) for over 40 years. He loved going to the beach and deep-sea fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family who miss him dearly.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his daughter Angela R. Gorecki; grandson Kameron L. Vanasco; and brother Arthur “Art” Joseph Spevacek, Jr. and wife Cyndy; as well as a large extended family and close friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two older sisters; grandson Michael “Mikey” Vanasco, Jr.; and an aunt and uncle.
