Joan Zerance

Joan F. Zerance, 84, of Gardens at West Shore and formerly of Bethany Towers, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Gardens at West Shore, East Pennsboro Twp.

She was a retired Kitchen Assistant in the cafeteria of Bishop McDevitt High School, Harrisburg and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Swatara Twp.

Joan was the daughter of the late Joseph N. and Anna Zubovic Zerance and is survived by three sisters, Mary Jane Miller and husband Gary L. of Hummelstown, Bernadette Brennan and husband Anthony of Haddonfield, NJ, and Rose Vajda of Hershey; two brothers, John Zerance and wife Vickie of Steelton and Ronald Zerance of Mechanicsburg. She was preceded in death by brother, Joseph Zerance and sister, Dolores Durand.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Swatara Twp. with Rev. James E. Lease, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. No viewing or visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
