JoAnn C. Meek, 83 of Mechanicsburg, died Friday, February 25, 2022 in UPMC - Carlisle Hospital.

She retired from 42 years in banking with the former Dauphin Deposit Bank as the Assistant Vice President of Deposits Operations. JoAnn is a 1956 graduate of the former Harrisburg Catholic High School (now Bishop McDevitt) and was a member of the Mechanicsburg VFW Post 6704 Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Junior Vice President and Trustee. She was a member of St. Paul''s Lutheran Church, Enola and was active for many years serving and supporting Veterans groups, SPCA and other animal groups.

She was the daughter of the late Jacob A. Vucenic Francis Mae (Brenizer) Vucenic and is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Gerald "Wimpy" G. Meek, Mechanicsburg; son, James Stover (wife Laura), Royersford; daughter, Michele Michaels, Charleston, TN; brother, Jacob Vucenic, Jr. (wife Judi), Paxtonia; stepson, Donald Meek (wife Traci), Oberlin Gardens; granddaughter, Maryann Bennett (husband Roger), Cleveland, TN; great-granddaughters, Courtney Michaels, Felicia Bennett Gabriela Bennet, Cleveland, TN; great-great-grandsons, Carson and Gunnar Collins, Cleveland, TN; uncle John Brenizer (wife Martha), Oberlin; her cousin, David Nelson, Jacksonville, FL; her beloved pet, Cinnamon and many special friends and neighbors.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. Funeral Services will begin 2:00 pm with Rev. Pamela Illick, Pastor, St. Paul''s Lutheran Church, Enola, Officiating. Burial at the conclusion of services will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul''s Lutheran Church, 6839 Wertzville Road, Enola, PA 17025.
