John Gaiski, Jr.

John L. Gaiski Jr. 74, of Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 25, 2021.

He was born in Harrisburg on August 21, 1946, the son of the late John and Mary Gaiski. John graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School class of 1964, and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. John was a steel worker and retired from Bethlehem Steel. He was of the catholic faith and a member of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church in Middletown. John was an avid fisherman, enjoyed college football, and spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

John is survived by his three loving children; Jennifer, Christopher, and Luke; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Christine and Mary Frances; and two brothers, David and Frank. He is preceded in death by his sister, Virginia.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 1:00 pm in Holy Cross Cemetery, Swatara Township, with the Rev. Ted Keating, Officiating. Covid-19 regulations will be enforced. Mask and social distancing will be required. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bishop McDevitt High School, 1 Crusader Way, Harrisburg PA 17111 in John Gaiski''s name.
