John Gorecki

John C. Gorecki, 91, of Bressler, died Monday, September 20, 2021 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for the former AMP, Inc.; a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, member of the AMP Nimrods, Highspire Boat Club, Capital Area Sportsmen for Youth, Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers, Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish and the St. Lawrence Club.

John is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Valeria G. Gorecki; his children, John J. Gorecki and wife Tina, Debra Goodyear and husband Rick, Robert Gorecki and Andy Gorecki; two grandchildren, Angie and Eric; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Kameron, Tallon, Caley and Aspyn; one brother, Roy Gorecki; four sisters, Margaret Logan, Joanie Laeuber, Alice Parker and Anna Clarke. John was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Michael.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace - Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, Pastor, Celebrant. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Resurrection Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin.
