Joseph J. Jajich, 56, of West Hanover Township, PA, died suddenly on Friday, September 10, 2021 in his home.
He was President and CEO of Tank Truck Outfitters, Harrisburg, a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin, a graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, member of Harrisburg Motorcycle Club where he served as former Treasurer, and benefactor of Halifax Volunteer Fire Department.
Joe was the son of the late George and Kathryn M. Hoke Jajich. He is survived by his daughter, Katlyn Jo Jajich of Pittsburgh; his son, Jay Joseph Jajich of Lancaster; his former wife, Patty Kopes; two brothers, David Heilman and wife Taffy of Hummelstown and Michael E. Heilman and wife Terra of Harrisburg; and sister, Rebecca S. Quade and husband Stan of Steelton. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell C. Heilman.
A man of his own, Joe Jajich lived a life full of love, support, and surprises. While spontaneous, Joe was always there for those who needed him and made sure everyone enjoyed their time around him. Complete strangers could end up with a TTO shirt on their back and a story to tell of a funny guy dressed in jean shorts riding a motorcycle. More than anything, he loved his kids and telling people how proud he was of them. His kids will always remember to: "Drive Fast, Take Chances". He loved motorcycles, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, shooting guns and his toys.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church with Rev. Christopher Rocknage Officiating.
