Josephine Bianco

Josephine Carmella Leone Bianco, 90, formerly of Rutherford, died Thursday, March 23, 2023, in Ecumenical Retirement Community.

She was a retired Technician for Community General Osteopathic Hospital; member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg. She loved to read, crochet and tend to her garden. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Leone and Adeline DeStefano Leone, her husband Alfredo "Archie" Bianco, deceased Daughters, Saundra L. Moore, Belinda Shambaugh and Susan A. Bianco; siblings Albert Leone and Victoria Cozzoli, Gennie Leone; Frank Leone, Angie Cerzullo and Rosie DeSendi. She is survived by her children, Deborah M. Harvey and husband Gary L., Harrisburg and Tina M. Bortner and husband Mark, Auburn, PA; son-in-law William C. Moore, Auburn, PA; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A visitation will held on Monday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the church. Arrangements by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.
