Kenneth C. Kelsey, 89, of The Middletown Home, died Thursday, February 24, 2022 in Carlisle.

He was a graduate of John Harris High School Class of 1950; a US Army Veteran of the Korean War serving in Japan and Korea; he served in US Army Reserves from 1952 until 1962 and PA National Guard 28th Division from 1962 until retirement as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1987. He was a member of Perseverance Lodge #21 FandAM, Harrisburg Consistory Scottish Rite, Zembo Temple of the Shrine, Hershey Shrine Club, Zembo Luncheon Club, American Legion Post 272, Linglestown, PA Sports Hall of Fame, and Hershey Italian Lodge. He enjoyed daily meetings at the cigar shop with friends.

Kenneth was the son of the late Benjamin F. Kelsey, Jr. and Sarah Cole Kelsey and the widower of Diane L. Hong Kelsey. He is survived by two sisters, Janet L. Fuschini of Myerstown and Barbara J. Cassel of Hummelstown; a niece and three nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Greenawalt.

Viewing will be private. Graveside Services and burial with full military honors will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 12:30 pm in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Alan C. Wenrich, officiating. Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
