Lenore Miscannon

Lenore B. Pasieka Miscannon, 90, of Orlando, FL and formerly of Harrisburg, died Monday, January 18 , 2021 in her home.

She was graduate of Mahanoy City High School Class of 1948 and St. Joseph's Nursing School, Reading Class of 1952. She was a Registered Nurse at Polyclinic Medical Center, Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill from its opening until the early 90's, and retired from Community General Osteopathic Hospital.

Lenore was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Harrisburg and a member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church.

She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Pasieka and the widow of Bernard S. Miscannon. Surviving are three sons, Bernard J. Miscannon and his wife, Ellen Marie of Steelton, Thomas M. Miscannon and his wife, Elba of Orlando, FL, and Stephen P. Miscannon of Harrisburg; one brother, Michael Pasieka of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Dolores Wagner of Hamburg and Kathleen Pierce of Venus, FL; seven grandchildren, Michael, Eliana, Matthew, Nathaniel, Andrew, Megan and Christopher Miscannon; and three great grandchildren, Luke, Claire and Liam. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Pasieka and a sister, Jeanne Dennis.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 am in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Philip White, OFM Cap, as Celebrant. Burial will be Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 am in her church. Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Oberlin. Current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines will be enforced. Face masks and social distancing will be required.
