Leo Burnette

Leo Calva Burnette Jr., 81, of Swatara Township, died Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Oak Hill Village, Middletown.

He was the son of the late Leo Burnette Sr. and Maggie (Chambers) Burnette and was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Burnette. Leo is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joan E. (Soulliard) Burnette, Harrisburg; two daughters, Stephanie L. Kubick (David G.) of Harrisburg, and Pam Burnette of Atlanta, Georgia; son Leo C. Burnette, III of Douglasville, Georgia; six grandchildren adn one great-grandchild.

Leo retired as a sign maker for the New Cumberland Army Depot and was an Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He loved art, music, singing, watching sports and was a avid Las Vegas Raiders Fan, and USC college sports fan. He also was a real history buff.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin, PA. 17113. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the funeral home.
