Lillian O. Jones Allen, 89, of Oberlin, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in UPMC Harrisburg Hospital,

She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the US Treasury Department and a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, National Active and Retired Federal Employees Assn., and AARP.

Lillian was the daughter of the late Leonard A. and Beatrice Givens Jones and is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Robert L. Allen; one brother, Theodore Jones and his wife, Evelyn of Hendersonville, TN; one sister, Lucille Jones Adams of New Orleans, LA; several nieces and nephews, including a niece, Brenda Fulton Darensbourg and a nephew, Albert Darensbourg and his wife, Carolyn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 11:00 am in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Jonathan P. Sawicki, as Celebrant. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.
