Linda Lagyak

Linda L. Miller Lagyak, 73, of Hershey and formerly of Harrisburg, was reunited in Heaven with her husband Joe on June 26, 2021 in Salisbury, MD, while vacationing with her beloved family.

Linda was born in Harrisburg on April 23, 1948 to the late Mallon Miller and Phyllis Collier-Allen. She is a 1966 Graduate of John Harris High School and was employed by Bell Telephone - Operator Services following her graduation.

Linda began her career as a telephone operator, and worked her way up the corporate ladder to a management position for ATandT. In 1988, she relocated to Waikiki, Hawaii to be a manager in operator Services until returning to PA in 1992. Linda enjoyed gardening, entertaining, reading, her family and outings with her friends. She volunteered her time for the Food Pantry of Harrisburg, Harrisburg YWCA and People Movers of Hershey.

Linda was married to Joseph Lagyak, formerly of Steelton in 1969, they were married 30 years until Joe''s passing in 1999. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death also by her beloved stepfather, Homer Allen.

Linda is survived by her loving daughter, Jody Logan and husband Mike; the ight of her life, grandchildren, Alan, Jr., Joseph and Kai; her siblings and their respective families; Sarah, Mary, Nancy, Mallon, Jr., Mark and Michael. She leaves behind her two best friends, Mary Wagner and JeneeLynn Maugans and their families as well as other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 W. Areba Ave., Hershey with the Rev. Josh Weaver, Celebrant. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm in her church. Burial at the conclusion of Mass will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the family''s friends Wiedeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Oberlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greater Harrisburg YWCA, 1101 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA 17103.
