Linda Long

Linda Ralph Hoppes Long of Harrisburg passed peacefully in her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born April 29 1953. She was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School.

Linda was a dedicated, hardworking mother to three boys Keegan, Zachary, Caleb, along with every friend that her boys brought into their home.

Linda had and unbridled sense of adventure and loved to travel. In recent years, Linda completed trips with her partner Bill to Belize and Portugal. Linda loved motorcycle rides and visiting local shops in Harrisburg and beyond. One of her favorite hobbies was watching movies at Midtown Cinema with her late son Keegan. Her loving and caring personality is what those who knew her best will remember.

Linda is preceded by her mother Doris Ralph, son Keegan, Uncle Earl Shoop and wife Henrietta, Aunt Janet Kostelec and husband Jimmie.

Survived by partner Bill Packer, sons Zachary and Caleb, sister Trudy Smith and husband Gary, sister Angela Evina and husband Bob, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm in Wiedeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 357 South Harrisburg Street, Oberlin. A visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
